Flight to London leaves at 11:30 p.m. tomorrow night and heading to Bordeaux by train on Saturday. Tentatively scheduled activities in London involve seeing friends, strolling, napping, visiting Borough Market, and hitting a spa for a massage and a pedicure. Might possibly visit a Turkish bath, and if there's enough room in the luggage (I'm attempting not to check my bag) for running and/or swimming gear, will fit that in too. If not, oh well!

Have a great time. If at the Market make sure and go to the back where the Spanish area is and have some of those chorizo sandwiches. They are pretty good.

If you have time in London a great little day tip is to check out the Tate Modern: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=tate+modern&sll=40.715046,-73.956571&sspn=0.01537,0.024204&ie=UTF8&ll=51.515006,-0.098233&spn=0.025238,0.048409&z=15
and then got to the wine museum Vinopolis: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Vinopolis+london&sll=51.515006,-0.098233&sspn=0.025238,0.048409&ie=UTF8&ll=51.50356,-0.106816&spn=0.025244,0.048409&z=15

So funny! Last time I was there I went to the other Tate, and Vinopolis has been on my radar since it's near the market. And I have certainly had the chorizo sandwich, although I'm certainly up for more. Am thinking I might gorge on oysters this time 'round, too.

Yes, the Oysters are the bomb. If you were my FB friend then you could see me throwing them down and all the tourists looking at me like I was nutz...then they got into it after.
I do the Turkish Baths over in London all the time. I go to a lower class one but it is cool because the guys bet the ponies down in the lounge and they have a runner go place their bets. Holla!
Have a great time and very jealous that you get to be in my second city.
