Shoot Me Now, Take Two
First there was the Google thing. Now, turns out I was yesterday's Gawker Personal ad of the day. Since when did I become the poster child for single women in New York?!? Ack!
UPDATE (4/26): So today, I'm the Salon personals "Catch of the Day." Who knows where I'll end up next. . .

Once again, hysterical. The internets are so funny sometimes.

Not to worry - once I finally swallow the last ounce of my pride and sign up for dating sites I can only imagine my mug will find its way onto the personals of the day.
By the way, black & white vanity shots? So hot right now. And no, it's never too passe to quote "Zoolander."

But you look so HOT in that photo - you can at least take some comfort in that, no? Seriously, it's a great photo. I think I may have to resort to joining Nerve one of these days cause my own means are not fetching me any dates whatsoever.

Larry -- did I quote Zoolander? If so, it was completely inadvertent on my part. I've only seen it once and the only quote I can remember is "mer-MAN!"
And Rachel -- I wouldn't run out and join Nerve. The last date I had through Nerve was one of the disappearing guys.

Wicked!
A few of us at work are trying to convince a colleague to try internet dating but he's having none of it.

Sorry Laren, didn't mean to confuse you. While "mer-MAN" is also great, it was I in fact who was quoting Zoolander with the "so hot right now" reference, which I assumed would yield grunts of disdain (well more likely indifference) given that the flick is like 8,000 years old.

Yeah, RKB is right about the picture.
